Sokoto State Government has discharged N155 million for the development of Women Development Centers in all the 23 neighborhood government ranges of the state.
Hajiya Kulu Abdullahi, Commissioner of Women Affairs, said at a media instructions on Thursday in Sokoto that the cash was discharged to different contractual workers taking care of the undertaking.
She said that the focuses were intended to offer abilities preparing to ladies, to make them independent.
The chief included that officially eight of the focuses situated in Wamakko, Sokoto South, Sokoto North, Kware,Tangaza, Binji, Gudu and Silame nearby government territories had been finished.
She communicated fulfillment with the level of work going ahead at the rest of the focuses.
Abdullahi said that the service had paid N16 million for the development of two houses for medicinal specialists at Maryam Abacha Women and Children Hospital, Sokoto.
