ABUJA/KADUNA RAILWAY PROJECT : WHO TAKES THE CREDIT, BUHARI OR JONATHAN ?

In all fairness, candid observers do know that President Muhammadu Buhari that took over five months to appoint a minister for Works and Housing couldnt have completed a lump sum project as the Abuja /Kaduna railway in less than one year. From the time before the election that brought him as president, the project was already ongoing as the records are there for all to see and on this premise, I urge his supporters to look inward.
To be exact, the project was conceived, stated and completely funded by the immediate past administration of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan even though he didnt return as president of Nigeria to commission the project he started.

In politics, the completion and commissioning of a project matters a lot to those whom such project is to serve bringing to bear the scriptural admonition that better is the ending of anything than its beginning. Afterall, several projects have in the past been abandoned or halted by subsequently government and the Abuja /Kaduna railway project wouldn't have been an exception to this error. For example, the second Niger Bridge initially started by Jonathan have been stopped by Buhari.
However, a well established network of railroad opens up lots of economic opportunities for any nation and guess that prompted president Buhari to make it a top priority not to abandon the project the way he abandoned the Asaba /Onitsha bridge.
The question is who takes the credit for the Abuja /Kaduna railway project?
For me, against all odds, I give the credit to Jonathan, not Buhari.
