FG denies asking Nigerian Athletes to buy their tickets to Rio 2016

WE DID NOT ASK ATHLETES TO BUY TICKETS TO RIO 

The Ministry of Youth and Sports Development says it didn't immediate outside based competitors setting off to the Olympic Games in Rio to purchase their own air tickets. The Minister of Youth and Sports Barrister Solomon Dalung said this in an announcement taking after an implied mail requesting that 

competitors purchase their tickets to the Olympics and which was said to have started from the Ministry. Advodate Dalung expressed that the Director, High Performance Angie Taylor has been saddled with the obligation of orchestrating the flights and development of the remote based competitors to and from Rio. "We didn't compose any mail requesting that competitors pay their approach to Rio. As the supervisors of games in the nation, it is our obligation to deal with every one of our competitors. The letter did not originate from us and we will examine the author of that letter. It doesn't speak to our stand concerning the development of competitors to Rio and the author or anyone requesting that competitors purchase their tickets to Rio will be researched. We ask Nigerians and competitors specifically to neglect the mail" Dalung said. The clergyman however lamented the humiliation brought about by the letter and requested that competitors stay concentrated on their development to the Rio amusements.
