Family plans classy first year remembrance for Oba Okunade Sijuwade

The primary year Remembrance of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, Olubuse II, the 50th Ooni of Ife, has been altered to hold one week from now. The two-day occasion will commence on Thursday, 28 July, 2016, with a Thanksgiving Service at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Ayegbaju, Ife. 

This will then be trailed by a fantastic gathering at the Castle of Mercy, Ede Road, Ile-Ife. The next day, Friday. 29 July, a Colloquium, titled, "The Life and Times of Oba Okunade Sijuwade, Olubuse II, The 50th Ooni of Ife, will be facilitated by The Institute of Cultural Studies, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, at Oduduwa Hall, OAU. 

Another gathering will take after at Motel Royal, KM 4, Ede Road, Ile-Ife. It will be reviewed that Oba Sijuwade joined his predecessors, a year ago on the night of that pivotal Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at around 7pm. He was matured 85.
